Track closure Sherwood to Rosewood.  No show for a bus at Oxley by 5.20am meant taxi to Sherwood.  I have a receipt and intend to put a claim into TransLink (no bus was seen to arrive before we left Sherwood).

On arrival at Sherwood the waiting EMU left before we got to the platform.  A PN freight train then passed through Sherwood. The EMU was moved to Graceville to allow the freight train to pass. This meant train at Graceville and passengers at Sherwood. A hastily arranged bus then took us to Graceville.  I requested the Transport staff to phone ahead and hold the train at Graceville (this was done).  The train ended up leaving Graceville about 4 minutes late with us on board (essential to make the Nambour connection).  One passenger unsure of what was happening at Sherwood, ran, yes ran to Graceville and made the train. He arrived shortly before us at Graceville!

Some photographs from the day at Nambour for the timetable session.

I submitted a claim and received two complimentary 1 to 6 zone daily passes in the mail.  This will cover the expenditure I made for the taxi.

Thanks TransLink!
