An EMU 6 car train being assisted by another EMU 6 car train to clear Roma St station Brisbane after failing between Central and Roma St stations.  Filmed from EMU40, that was held at a red signal to allow the failed train to be cleared from Roma St.

So, I see they are trialling Brisbane's first 12 car train?  ;)

No they frequently operate 9 and occasionally 12 car movements from Mayne to the car wash at Normanby as empty car movements.

Occasional 12 car movements are seen on the Ippy.  Saw one the other day, EMU 6 car / SMU 6 car.  Sounded like one of the units had a bad flat.

These movements are for location between depots/workshops.

I've also seen 9 & 12 car movements on the Caboolture line.
