Two bus stops on Ann Street in Brisbane CBD will close from Sunday night due to the ongoing City Hall restoration works.

TransLink spokesperson Andrew Berkman said stops 11 and 11A on Ann Street near City Hall would be closed for about two years so restoration of the iconic building could continue.

"Passengers who would normally get on or off their bus at these stops, opposite the Sebel Hotel and the intersection with Roma Street, will need to find an alternate stop," Mr Berkman said. The following routes will now stop at stop 10, Ann Street (near Groove Train in King George Square):

    * route 299 (Rochedale via Griffith Uni, QEII Hospital and Brisbane Technology Park)
    * route 540 (City to Beaudesert)
    * route P546 (City to Park Ridge)
    * Loop (Brisbane City).

The following routes will now stop at stop109/110 North Quay (behind the Supreme Court):

    * route 243 (City to Thorneside, via Chandler)
    * route 251 (City to Ormiston)
    * route 257 (City to Ormiston)
    * route 265 (City to Maridale Park)
    * route 267 (City to Alexandra Hills)
    * route 270 (City to Victoria Point Jetty, via Capalaba)
    * route 273 (City to Thornlands)
    * route 275 (City to Thornlands).

Passengers using routes P343, 363, 382 and 383 will now be dropped off at stop 111 North Quay. Passengers using route 390 will now be dropped off at stop 17, Adelaide Street (other side of City Hall).

All other routes will drop off at stop 10 Ann Street, close to the Groove Train restaurant.

"TransLink's Helping Hands staff will be on site later this week and early next week to help people with the change," Mr Berkman said.
