Memory was jogged by something written in the timetable thread.
Why can't we have busway-style timetables at railway stations?

And why can't we get a proper, large format map like at busway stations, of the local area, showing where the local bus stop is and the connecting services? I once had to go to a train station I had not been to before, I can tell you know, trying to take directions from TL at an unfamiliar station is next to impossible.

Put in a colour map! On both platforms!

So 3 maps, all in busway size and format.

1. Local area map showing local bus stop and bus numbers
2. Simplified, busway-style timetable, not this massive monolithic wall of information that makes it hard to pick out what you want. Many people actually cannot read information organised into tables, and do not know how to find the information they want this way.
3. A QR Network map! Large!

The only part of this which I consider a PT issue is the lack of a "Map this walk" function in the journey planner.  Melbourne and Sydney have it.

Oh, I love having to work out where bus stops are when they are listed on the Translink planner..... "Ashgrove" stop anyone?, I normally end up looking on another site QROTI (if i remember it correctly) then going from there. Any improvements, even if it was just a map showing the stop locations would be a plus...

I have to agree some are pretty bad. Some are OK like when its a shopping center interchange, but others are pretty bad, like the "Settlement" bus stop at The Gap which isn't on settlement rd, its around the corner on waterworks rd.
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Busway stations have them. These three maps in busway size should be mandatory at all railway stations.
It is just not good enough.
