QuoteAlthough by that definition, the CRR thread should be moved.

Still not confirmed, when it becomes an actual project then we can start up a new thread in the infrastructure.
Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

Ah Ok. It is only for confirmed and funded projects then.

OK, I've realised that arguing against stupidity is futile.
Just as futile as arguing with the narrow minded.

A lot of projects which should not have proceeded in the form they did were done.

I also am dismayed to see this discussion suggest closing Windsor & Wilston.  Not particularly busy stations, either of them, but any closure that dilutes the connections & "network effect" of the rail system would be DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!!!
Regarding Windsor, I expect that the majority of people disembarking here in the AM peak are changing for a 333 in either direction.  Connecting the FG line to the Northern Busway at another point would not reduce connectivity at all, and in fact would improve it.  Also, the Northern Busway would be running through before any such line could be contemplated, and that would be superior for city bound trips, and probably even Valley bound.

Wilston is a problem and a limitation and I don't have an answer other than that.
