Either 100 or 110 should become a BUZ. There should be a BUZ down the Ipswich Road corridor.

I'd be satisfied if they simply spaced out the weekday timetable correctly.  You'd then have a 20 minute frequency, which isn't too bad.  Are there any other Ipswich Rd services?  I'm assuming not.  I might have to modify my comments slightly if there are.

EDIT: Ok, there's also the 117/124/125/172.  I think the first 3 should be placed with the 100/110/115 in QSBS.

Extend 110 to Forest lake and then turn it into a BUZ; It's a complete blank area on the BUZ map and the rail line is unlikely to be electrified in this area (Salisbury-Acacia Ridge- Parkinson/Freight route).

Inala is a major centre along and quite a bit of development is happening in this area. The commute is lengthy, and the Willawong bus depot is just in the next suburb.

Not a bad idea. The via Centenary Motorway routes are surely faster to Forest Lake than this would be, but there would be no reason to keep running the 460 to Inala if this were done.  Once Richlands is open, you could extend the 110 there and there would be no need for another route to Inala/Forest Lake, besides a possible peak hour route along the current 100 route as far as Inala.

The major problem with all this is that travel times might be slower than present.

100 Inala & Forest Lake appears to be faster as it takes Ipswich Road/Ipswich motorway
however 110 (Inala only) goes via Moorooka (Moorvale-Main Street), Salisbury, Bunnings Rocklea,  Archerfield Airport, Coopers Plains, Acacia Ridge & Durack.

Whichever one of 100 or 110 becomes a BUZ, I've proposed it be extended to Forest Lake so that it can tap into that demand.

117 and 115 services through Acacia Ridge are patchy at best.
This general area has cheap land/houses and new development but people can't access it due to poor transport.
You need a car and the Ipswich motorway. Even an extension of the 130 or like services from the back of Parkinson might help.

The transport interchanges at Inala are very well patronised indeed.

You've never regularly travelled on a 110 have you? lol. It's bad enough the way it is now.  The drivers take a kazillion dollars in cash and just about always run late because the timetable has barely been altered in over a decade.  According to the rumour mill though, the 100 has been on the cards for a while now to become a BUZ.  It is very well patronised in the peak hour with most services having close to full seated loads at a 10-15 min frequency.  I wouldn't be suprised if it's been a lack of funding & resources that has stopped it happening already.

The 117/124/125 used to leave from QSBS years ago (well, at least their forerunners did before renumbering 121/131/141/151/171/181/191).  The problem is now there isn't enough space for them.  I think what they should do is make the 100 half hourly so you then have a 15 min freq on the express as well as the all stops as the 117/124/125 already make a 15 min freq on a weekday.

Well, how did they decide which routes were to get the chop?  Threw a bunch of timetables down the stairs and picked the ones which went farthest?

My hope is, route "100" should start from Kelvin Grove, and pick up at the Queen Street Busway Station, as there is a need for "through" bus services from the INB to Ipswich Rd destinations. Route "100" would be a good start. I knw that I was totally amazed at traveling on the new INB and running express through the Queen Street Busway Station. . . . . . indeed shocked, is the best way to describe it!  If the "100" is started out of Kelvin Grove, then of course it would run directly from Roma Street Station to Queen Street Station, to pick up.

I don't agree with this one.  Why extend a route which is already very long; that would reduce reliability further.  Stopping at QSBS would be difficult northbound.  You would probably need to use platform C and turn right as you leave the platform.  I suppose you could use QSBS southbound and KGSBS northbound.

When you say Kelvin Grove, do you mean the QUT busway station?  A single change manouver and a frequent service already applies for the northern part.

One thing I would hope is that the 100 is extended to Richlands train station when it opens.  Then one would question the need for the 460/461, at least if something can serve the Sumners Rd part of that route.
