I think I will travel in on the inaugural 7.18am ex Corinda on the 4th.   Have a late meeting so I will miss the first 4.45pm service from Roma St on the 4th, maybe Thursday.

Well done.

A small but significant move forwards  :)  I think as things get worse with the traffic these services will be very valuable in helping relieve the pressure on some of the long haul runs.  Now, the weekday evening gap on the Sunshine Coast line needs fixing  ;)

Let's hope this one can be achieved.

When's the next full timetable review?  Presumably, they'll behave in the same appalling manner.  The new CityRail timetable was released 4 months prior to implementation, and I believe, a draft was released before that for public comment.

The new 4.42pm service from Central would have been very handy this afternoon.  I travelled on the 4.50 ex Central and it was very full (close to a DS 5).  Tomorrow the new services start!

Estimate about 250 on board at Auchenflower, good effort for less than two days notice.  Sure to build significantly.

Did I read that right?  It was a 3 car train with 1 car locked off?

But how do we know that they weren't planning to do this all along?  It's not logical, but neither was thinking that they wouldn't need to.

All 6 cars in use,  the first cars EMU 04, next three cars EMU 74.  They are 3 car units.

There may have been some internal planning but the point is less than two days PUBLIC Notice.

Great trip in though!   :)

Quote3 pax car 1.  Off!

3 passengers in first carriage, just leaving.  (translation).  sorry to confuse but typing fast ..
