I took a trip up to Mooloolah and back today, with the return journey being by railbus (which was running late which resulted in an hour+ gap between Go-Card swipes - arrgh!).

Anyway, I noticed that there seems to a mix of all stops and express railbus services, with different stations being skipped depending on which service you are on. The bus I was on is timetabled to skip Beerburrum and Elimbah despite driving past the stations - why not timetable a stop as the bus doesn't exactly have to go on much of a detour? The timetabled journey time between Glass House Mountains and Caboolture was the same on this service as the preceding all stops - so again, why isn't it timetabled to stop? It seems daft that Beerburrum and Elimbah have a 2 hour gap between buses/trains despite 2 buses running express past them during this period.

Does anyone else think there should be a more homogenous railbus timetable on the Sunshine Coast Line?

Evening peak service to Enoggera* 2007 - 7tph
Evening peak service to Enoggera* 2010 - 4tph
* departures from Central between 16:30 and 17:30.

Sounds reasonable, but more importantly with the duplication they should be able to run more trains and also have faster journey times.

They'd be more of a point to the express buses if they took the freeway, of course.
