The Springborg election camp had a run-in with the law as it campaigned around Brisbane on Wednesday morning.

The official Liberal National Party (LNP) bus, dubbed the Borg Express, was travelling to a media event when bus driver Pete cut off a police officer at a set of Brisbane traffic lights.

The boy in blue pulled over, got out and circled the Borg Express - which is plastered with a smiling image of Mr Springborg - and seemed ready to write up a ticket.

But when Pete emerged from the bus followed by a media pack, he appeared to rethink the move.

Initially very angry, he let Pete off with a warning.

"Oh well, he didn't book me and he's going to vote for the Borg, so it's okay," Pete told reporters as he stepping back on the bus.

"Lawrence will be happy when he hears about it."

Mr Springborg was not on board at the time.

The LNP leader had earlier announced a plan to retrain 300 child safety administration workers to take on case worker roles.

Meanwhile, Premier Anna Bligh on Wednesday embarked on her "Jobs, not cuts" tour, planning to visit 30 seats in the last three days of the election campaign.

By 9pm (AEST) she plans to have visited 11 seats, with another similar number on Thursday.

Ms Bligh began the day at Bribie Island where she did her morning walk with Pumicestone MP Carryn Sullivan.

She went on to have breakfast at a highway service station with MP Dean Wells and Morayfield candidate Mark Ryan.

Her entourage then went on to Redcliffe where the Houghton Highway Bridge is being duplicated.

Ms Bligh stopped for less than 30 minutes for a hard-hat photo opportunity with MPs Lillian Van Litsenburg and Vicky Darling.

She then did a brief walk through Chermside shopping centre with Emergency Services Minister Neil Roberts.

One woman said she "loved" the premier and another said she felt like she already knew her.
