RAIL commuters across Brisbane faced delays throughout peak-hour this morning after a series of problems on the city's trains.
Ferny Grove and Cleveland line commuters were delayed for about 10 minutes this morning after electrical faults began about 7am.

Another electrical fault on the track between Roma Street Station and Central Station forced five trains to halt on the lines with passengers on board about 8.50am.

Electricians fixed the fault a short time later.

A suspect thief caused delays on the Shorncliffe line and the Robina line, after police were forced to stop a train at Albion to catch a fleeing man.

The man allegedly took items from a newsagent in Bowen Hills and jumped on to a departing train, but police were able to intercept the man after boarding the train at Albion.
