Article: Woman pushed from rail platform

A teenager escaped serious harm when she was pushed from the platform at Morningside Train Station last night.

The 18-year-old woman was standing on the platform about 7.40pm when a man allegedly pushed her, prompting her to fall between the platform and a stationary train.

She suffered only minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police charged a 21-year-old man with assault occasioning bodily harm, obstructing railways and endangering the safety of persons travelling by railway.

He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 22.
