2022/2023 set available below.

Only one full-time bus route appears to have gone through a decline - Route 767 is 95% of the previous year's performance.

Every other service has had an increase in patronage over the 2021/2022 year - most modest is Route 749 (101.56%), and most pronounced is Route 777 (344.07%).

The all up numbers for full-time buses are 11,580,400 over 8,286,418 (or 139.75% of 2021/2022 performance).

Much of this is going to be recovery from COVID.  I expect the numbers are going to be much less affected by persistent WFH arrangements than would be the case in Brisbane.  For comparison, the 2022/2023 performance is 97.33% of the 2018/2019 figure of 11,898,156.

Tram patronage of 10,392,878 is at 163.98% of previous year's 6,337,793, and 96.74% of 2018/2019's 10,743,025.

All up patronage for tram and buses (of all kinds, including school services) of 23,559,319 is 144.98% over previous year's 16,249,999, and 95.85% of 2018/2019's 24,580,556.

Assuming some modest growth in 2023/2024 it will be on track to be the biggest year yet.  This is quite plausible given the general recovery of the patronage base following back the winding down of all meaningful travel restrictions, natural growth and the bus funding packages rolled out so far this year for improvements north of Coomera and around Elanora.

For rail - all 6 stations south of Beenleigh recorded entries at least 40% higher than the previous year, with around 49% higher entries over all.  Total entries were down to about 85.42% of the 2018/2019 high.  I expect this figure will take longer to recover than the tram and bus figures given it will contain proportionately higher numbers of office commuters.
