... Am delighted to share that I'm into my first week as Deputy Director-General, Translink Division at Department of Transport and Main Roads!
The people of TMR, and the city of Brisbane, are treating me very well.

It's a very exciting and dynamic time for public transport in Queensland with major infrastructure projects transforming cities and regions, new technology being rolled out, and preparations accelerating to host the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Here's just a wee snapshot of what we have going on that will help shape Queensland into the future:

- Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line project
- Queensland Train Manufacturing Program
- Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail
- Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade
- Zero Emission Bus program
- European Train Control System
- Continuing the rollout of the Smart Ticketing solution

Translink is also involved in the important network planning for projects including Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro and the Gold Coast Light Rail.
