Bus Rapid Transit should not be about all routes using a dedicated bus way (aka our current busways) but about legible, usable, comfortable services.

Translink needs to deliver a Vision for SEQ Routes just not the corrdiors.

I know I write this a lot, but "I agree with Jonno".

Absolutely! This is why it is important to go back to expanding the BUZ network again and complete the BUZ grid / fill in the gaps.

Things got a bit off track with the CityGliders and Metro, but the BUZ is what boosted patronage hugely, we need to again expand that.

A number of RBOT members now have their own frequent network maps, and I think that is a good thing.

Totally!  It will take decades to build the light rail and subway needed but in the mean time set it up as dedicated bus lanes, light rail/rail spacing of stops (mostly so there are stops at major centres/intersections), even build the stops.  The network must be easy to understand and use! Develop bike/mobility infrastructure at the same time!

Totally agree, and part of it is reducing complexity. It is beyond absurd that if you walk to a bus stop on Old Cleveland Road you have to work out which of about six buses is the right one to get, whereas if you are a kilometre north or south you'll be lucky to have a bus going anywhere in the next half an hour. Ideally each major road should have one service, but it should be frequent, fast, reliable, and connected.
