Cool wonder if the passenger ferry and the buses will merge onto the Translink grid?

At the moment, I am drawing up a possible bus network for North Stradbroke Island to simplify and improve the efficiency of the current bus system.

To help alleviate the question of when the bus is arriving? TMR and Translink should rollout ePaper real time information at key stops throughout the island. At least at Dunwich, Amity Point, Cylinder beach and Point Lookout.

I think the bigger issue is their timetable is drafted very confusingly, when it could just be drawn up the same as everybody else's.  The GTFS feed indicates the 2 routes on the island are the 880 and 881 (former is the main route from Dunwich to Point Lookout, latter is the connection to Amity), but there is no mention of that anywhere outside Google pretty much.

They need to hurry up and get rid of the distinction between qconnect and TransLink and make all branding, trade-dress and formatting consistent.  Same fonts, same timetable layouts, same livery, same everything.  TL needs to be a single clearing-house for everything statewide, especially with a common ticketing system coming.
