Compare Perth's with Brisbane's new urban passenger cars

Is there anyone who has travelled on both these narrow gauge numbers, built in the same factory at Maryborough, Qld? I'm a bit disappointed with Brisbane's new ones, comfort doesn't seem to be significantly improved. In particular, suspension and insulation of the carriage from rail rumble still seems inferior to Sydney's otherwise awful double-deckers. I'm told Brisbane's new sets do accelerate faster and cruise faster, and there's a bit more room for everything except bicycles (something QR is keen to maintain its peak fatwa on). But they still rumble and sway about on their little tracks and bogies, swinging around the too-tight curves of 19th C engineering. ???

Haven't been on the Perth units, but had a couple of rides on the new IMU here in Brisbane.
I have found them very good, and in fact seem to be very quiet to me when riding. Also noticeably much quieter when go past my house.

The do accelerate fast, and have been geared to facilitate that.

One of the constraints is the 3'6" gauge itself, but I think overall they a big improvement on the older IMU/SMU and EMUs.

Track problems are slowly being addressed.

the whole narro v standard guage seems like RWD v FWD FWD cars are now almost as good as RWD and it is the same with narrow guage been on IMUs and the new SMUs from manly on the clevland line and they are almost silent compared to EMUs also from South brisbane to ROma street there is  alot less noise and swaying also the seats dont hurt my back as much.
"Where else but Queensland?"
