Just saw a 233 bus going down Adelaide street assumed it must me a new route. So I searched it on TL to find it does exist but without any information anyone know anything about This ???

Its been programmed in the Destos since last year but nothing has ever been put into place. Also the Destos only have an outbound code, no inbound code. The driver showing that should not have done so. Only confuses the public.

Also Otto, with the new Volgren Optimus, when the front says "Sorry Not in Service", the side and back destos still have the previous route number displayed. For example, on multiple occasions, I have seen a Not in Service bus travelling through Ashgrove with P211 on the back and side (and sometimes P221).

Is this a bug or something? What is the go?

Programming "Not in service" to fit the route numeral screens is not that hard.

Someone on UQ stalkerspace the other day had a bus with 139 on the front and 169 on the back and sides  :conf

This is not uncommon. Personally I find it quite amusing, but some would find it confusing. Had a bit of a chuckle when I saw a "375" going along Swann Rd.
Is it really that hard to run frequent, reliable public transport?

Just a software fault. The Optimus buses do have different Desto software due to the different desto displays.
