If we had a single ounce of competence in the management of our system, why would the lead agency be directing somebody to an operator instead of just sorting out the issue themselves?  TransLink is meant to be a single point clearing house, but never acts like it.

QR shouldn't even have any branding or media presence as far as I'm concerned - the rollingstock, personnel and such should be identified as being TransLink regardless of wherever they work.  "TransLink Trains" will do it.

This little vignette is an excellent example of what is wrong with the present set up.

Unless there is proper structural reform etc. nothing will really get better.  The constant cluster-fuk just continues ...
