Good job - late service this morning

The 6.11am service from Oxley this morning was running about 15 minutes late due to a medical emergency that held the train at Riverview on the way in from Ipswich for about 15 minutes. The station staff at Oxley kept passengers well informed of the delay and once the train arrived we had a smooth run into the city.

Good to hear the announcements this morning.  Things happen but prompt and clear communications keeps everyone in the loop and at ease.

The Bowen Hills service that is supposed to pass through Indooroopilly at 8:01AM did not materialise this morning. An empty EMU with lights off passed the station at speed at about 8:03AM. The 8:05AM and 8:08AM trains also failed to appear. An all-stations Ekka Service arrived just after 8:10AM and at the time I assumed this was one of the scheduled all stations to Bowen Hills services. Arrived at Roma Street at 8:24AM to be greeted by a screen which stated that the service was an unscheduled extra with the 8:05AM service from Indooroopilly due 15 minutes late.

I would like to thank the Indooroopilly Station Staff for a number of things. 1) Hiding from view. 2) Failing to make any announcements to 100+ passengers on platform.
