I was told by a crew member on the SOTO that the SOQ sixth service is delayed and might not be introduced. Fewer passengers are using the Brisbane to Cairns route now that sleeping cars are no longer available. Queensland Rail should come to understand, that despite RAIL BED CARS to be introduced from LONDON to SCOTLAND in 2017, traditional SLEEPING CARS are provided, botH for first class and second or 'standard' class, travel. In effect the RAIL BED cars will be a sort of third class sleeper.
