Now that the Sector 1 public rail timetable changes is made official.  I would like to post my suggested changes to rail-bus timetabled connections.  The weekday timetable isn't that bad, but does have some gaps.  Weekend timetables are a bit of a mess.

WALL OF TEXT AHEAD (TLDR version: More rail feeders connecting to the majority of services, with 605/615 meeting almost every service where possible).  Replace the 631 with the 630 and split the 631 into two routes

Draft SC Rail Timetable in 2016 (Post MBRL):

As I understand TransLink will make timetable adjustments to Caboolture and Sunshine Coast services to ensure buses keep meeting the trains, however I do want to suggest some changes.

605:

Towards Landsborough:
Weekdays: First service leaves Caloundra at 4:55am and meets the second train leaving Landsborough at 5:29am.  From there on in, meets every train service from there on in, until the last service departing Caloundra at 9pm (to meet with the last train leaving Landsborough at 9:36pm).

Weekends: Connects with every train from the first service, with the last connection leaving Caloundra at 9pm (to meet with the train leaving Landsborough at 9:36pm).

From Landsborough:
Weekdays: Connects from first service arriving Landsborough at 7:17am, and meets every train from there on in, with the last connecting service departing Landsborough at 10:05pm for Caloundra.  The last train to connect to the 605 would be the 8:37pm Nambour train from Central.

Weekends: Connects from first service arriving Landsborough at 8:28am, and meets every train till last service.  The last service departs Landsborough at 10:05pm for Caloundra (connecting off the 8:37pm Central to Nambour train).

Investigate at extending most weekday (and also most weekend) 605 services to SCU(P)H (using the existing 600 and 607 alignments).  First services should depart SCUH from 6am onwards with the last services from SCUH arrive/departing around 8pm.  This would also introduce weekend services to the SCU(P)H area for pensioners. (SCRC could fund the extension initially through the PT levy funded by ratepayers).

615:
Towards Landsborough:
Weekdays: First service leaves Maroochydore at 4:35am and meets the second train leaving Landsborough at 5:29am.  From there on in, meets every train service untill last service departing Maroochydore at 8:40pm (connecting to the last train leaving Landsborough at 9:36pm).

Weekends: Connects with every train from the first service, with the last connection leaving Maroochydore at 8:40pm (to meet with the train leaving Landsborough at 9:36pm).

From Landsborough:
Weekdays: Connects from first service arriving Landsborough at 7:17am, and meets every train from there on in, with the last connecting service departing Landsborough at 11:35pm for a Mon-Thurs short-working 615 to Sippy Downs/University, with Friday night extension to Maroochydore.  The last train to connect to the 615 would be the 10:07pm Nambour train from Central.

Weekends: Connects from first service arriving Landsborough at 8:28am, and meets every train till last service.  The last service departs Landsborough at 10:05pm for Maroochydore (connecting off the 8:37pm Central to Nambour train).
