Great journey!  Has good day tripper / tourist potential as a serious commute option a little limited in frequency. 
But if you have the time a great way to get around.

Back to Brisbane today. I will miss the excellent train service frequency   

Melbourne uses rail - heavy and tram as the high frequency core of its PT network rather well.
