Quarterly 24/7 On-Time Running results

Greetings,

Queensland Rail have made available Quarterly 24/7 On-Time Running results --> http://www.queenslandrail.com.au/RailServices/City/Pages/Quarterly247OnTimeRunningResults.aspx

This is the first time that full aggregate performance data around the clock has been made available.

This is welcome.  It would be improved however by providing a more comprehensive break up of lines,  similar to what is available in Perth.

See --> http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/AboutUs/Surveysandstatistics.aspx

Complete performance data builds confidence in our rail network.

Well done Queensland Rail!  Excellent.

Where is the bus ontime performance data?

Best wishes
Robert

Sadly, a train that runs (unscheduled) express and bypasses hundreds of passengers, can still be counted on time. Dodgy stats!

. @QueenslandRail G'day! If a train is altered to bypass stations how is that included in OTP stats?  Thanks ..

In view of this response, I think they should report the number of services altered in each peak.  This gives a better overall representation.

eg.  now, this service gets back on time.  Nothing shows in the data ...

Very relevant ..

Crikey (Alan Davies) --> What's better: a train that's late or one that doesn't get there at all?

Queensland Rail do alter a small number of trains most peaks ..
