Prime7 --> Traffic chaos after truck smashes into Acton Tunnel causing partial collapse

An excavator on a low-loader truck has badly ripped up the busy Acton Tunnel, plunging Parkes Way traffic into chaos and sparking health fears.

No one was hurt in the accident, which occurred around 10:20am, but it was feared the tunnel roof contained asbestos fibres.

The driver of the truck was spoken to at the scene.

A one kilometre exclusion zone was established down wind, shutting westbound lanes and reducing eastbound traffic down to one lane ...
