Thought there may be a few people interested in this project that TMR did with Transmax:

It automatically works out the route from the ambulances GPS position and the job it has been tasked to and changes the traffic lights along the route to green before the ambulance arrives to clear queued vehicles and allow it to pass through safely and quickly.
