It will be interesting to see where the carriages will end up -- hopefully up and down the line in the towns the Sunlander served.  Maybe the dining car could be a 'Harry d' Wheels', selling pie and peas in the city somewhere.  Maybe a row of carriages as a restaurant in a park setting.  Let's not see them go to scrap!

The carriages were built at Rocklea by Commonwealth Engineering.  The longevity of the carriages a testament to quality manufacturing that once was possible in Queensland & Australia ..  :P
