An interesting old city.

It has no metro as such, just railways mostly meeting at a major station, mostly approaching city from a numbrr of directions apart from southerly.

There is one single tram line that also stops at the man station. All transoort from there is vua mini bus.

We stayed out of city on vineyard, but caught train, an regional express from Lastra di Signa. Which is last stop 9min out of city, then a few minutes to final terminal. The station is on a new by pass route and goes a number of km though a tunnel after our stop heading out.

The local all stops trains take older route through valley

Double decker, with disabled access at end, station staff aided young woman with some leg issue and limited mobility to seat and asked others to move.
In double deck section its too low for me to stand but we could push pram from station to lower section
Station parking was in sufficent,we like others parked on side of main road.
Only ticket machine at station, need not take money, only card. With 2min to go, a local is also yank advised travel in last car as ticket inspector at this point is at front of train.
Doors to drivers cab was open in both direction. Note on city end is loco, we were at drivers cab car end.
Guard also ticket inspector can close doors at any point on train
Inside pax car you had display for temp in and out, speed, station list, time at each and lateness
