Depending on the start date for Springfield Rail planning to ride the 535 for a final time.

Tentative is Friday 6th December (date may change)

Basic plan:

Richlands station stop A - 535 bus departs 8.50am  (connects with the 8.13am Richlands ex Central)

Orion Springfield 9.25am.

526 bus to Redbank Plaza 10.43am - 11.10am

500 bus to Bell St Ipswich 11.18am - 11.56am

Any one interested, just turn up at Richlands.  Interesting bus runs for those not out west ...

I shall be able to come along to this, hopefully. Will most likely be joining at Indoooroopilly though... 428s connect with Richlands and Ipswich trains (I think more by pure fate than intention), and no point back tracking into the CBD.

Look forward to catching up with you!  I will be getting the train from Darra to Richlands ..  but will probably catch the 8.11am ex Darra for Richlands (which is the 7.43am ex Central).

Big weekend coming up.  Friday, 535, Sunday 1 Dec Official Opening Springfield extension, shuttles 10am to 1pm Richlands <-> Springfield Central, Monday 2 Dec, commencement of normal services.

Springfield Central!  Station still closed off final works proceeding.  Looking good!

5 pax on the last am outbound 535 (no uni) ...

Great to catch up with James and STB.  Thanks guys for coming along.

Great lunch too at the Ippy pub.

The 500 and 526 are certainly earning their keep.  Great pax numbers, only downer was the number of paper tickets!

We watched a couple of onboard bus go card top-ups.  Seamless, 20secs or so.  Lot quicker than paper sales.

It really is time to pull the paper tickets.  Poor folks are paying through the nose and I am not sure they actually realise.
