Here here! For Ken, noting the topic, there is a photo of a Citroen Rail Ambulance in its Shed at ALMADEN in Brian Webbers book "Exploring the Rails of Far North Queensland". I think there is some text in there describing where it was transferred from etc. When I get a few minutes I will have a decent  read of it (again) and get back to you.
