Group Fares

Airtrain offers the best value for groups travelling between the Airport and City.
      
Double Discount

Two adults travel together for only $27.00 between the Airport and City (or City to Airport).
This is around half the cost of a taxi.
Return fares for two adults are only $54.00.
This fare is only available online.

      
Triple Discount

Three adults travel together for only $36.00 between the Airport and City (or City to Airport).
Return fares for three adults are only $72.00.
This fare is only available online.
A Triple Discount fare is available at the Airtrain stations for $40.00 to the City and $80.00 return.

      
Quad Discount

Four adults travel together for $45.00 between the Airport and City (or City to Airport).
Return fares for four adults are $90.00.
This fare is only available online.
A Quad Discount fare is available at the Airtrain stations for $50.00 to the City and $100.00 return.

      
Larger Groups

Adult groups of five passengers or more pay only an additional $9.00 each online ($10.00 at the Airtrain Stations).

Kids Travel Free between the Airport and City. Child fares are for passengers aged 14 and under.
City Stations are Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central Station, Roma Street and South Brisbane.

Is this new? Looks good and makes sense.

Some people may complain that the Airport rail ticket costs are high, but one has to remember QR's service production costs are about ~$10.50 per passenger, so my estimate would be if the ticket is $16.50 one way, then Airtrain is making around $6 in revenue.
