Queensland:  Thank you Mr Andy Taylor

RAIL Back On Track (http://backontrack.org) a web based community support group for rail and public transport and an advocate for public transport users has thanked Mr Andy Taylor QR for his valuable contributions to the passengers of QR Limited.

Robert Dow, Spokesman for RAIL Back On Track said:

?QR has announced the appointment of Mr Paul Scurrah as Executive General Manager of its Passenger business.  Congratulations Mr Scurrah.  Mr Andy Taylor was in this position and RAIL Back On Track acknowledges the valuable contributions made by Mr Taylor to the passengers of QR Limited.?

?Mr Taylor has been particularly noticed by rail passengers and RAIL Back On Track members as a committed manager who was prepared to go and meet with passengers at various stations around the network. Feedback was taken on board and where possible improvements made almost immediately, or collated for future consideration.?

?Change is inevitable in today?s transport and commercial environment.  Rail is surely entering a period of renaissance which we believe will rival the late 19th and early 20th century time of great railway expansion throughout Australia, and will again place railways as the key transport link for the nation.?

?Thank you Mr Taylor for your role in this renaissance!?
