However, one nitpick.  Route 622 runs hourly, not half-hourly.  610 is the route that operates half-hourly.

Trial route 623 (Coolum to Nambour) will be removed on Sunday 18 November due to low patronage.

For more information on the 623 bus trial, visit the Sunshine Coast Regional Council's website.

If you're travelling between Coolum, the Sunshine Coast Airport and Nambour from Monday 19 November, there are some alternative ways to get there:
Inbound from Coolum to Nambour (including the Sunshine Coast Airport and Nambour station)

Option 1: catch route 622 to the David Low Way at Bli Bli stop and walk 340 metres to David Low Way at Bli Bli Castle stop for route 612 buses.
Option 2: catch route 622 to Sunshine Plaza and change to the 610 service.

Routes 622 and 610 run every 30 minutes.

Route 612 services Nambour station and Nambour Hospital, stopping at the Blackall Terrace near Hospital Road stop and Price Street near Hospital Road stop.

Route 610 services Nambour library, Nambour station and Nambour Hospital, stopping at Blackall Terrace near Hospital Road stop.
Outbound from Nambour to the Sunshine Coast Airport and Coolum

There are several ways you can travel from Nambour to the Sunshine Coast Airport and Coolum:

Option 1: catch route 612 to the Bli Bli Rd near David Low Way stop and walk 216m to the David Low Way at Bli Bli Castle stop for route 622 services.
Option 2: catch route 610 services to the Sunshine Plaza and change to the 622 service.

Route 622 runs every 30 minutes, stopping at:

    Bli Bli
    Pacific Paradise
    Sunshine Coast Airport
    Marcoola SCLC
    Mount Coolum
    Coolum Springs
    Peregian Springs

Hewitt Street near Blackfriars Close stop closure

The Hewitt Street near Blackfriars Close stops (in both directions) will close on Sunday 18 November.

If you're travelling between Coolum, the Sunshine Coast Airport and Nambour from Monday 19 November, you can catch route 622 (Noosa to Maroochydore) buses in both directions from the David Low Way at Coolum Hotel stops, located between Margaret and Birtwell Streets about 350 metres away. You will also need to change to a 610 and 612 service - details on how to connect to these services are listed above.

Route 623 bus stops closing from 18 November:

    Hewitt Street near Sunrise Avenue
    Hewitt Street near Blackfriars Close

Route 622 (Noosa to Maroochydore) bus stops:

David Low Way at Coolum Hotel stop (across road from Margaret Street access) - use this stop for services to the Sunshine Coast Airport and Nambour
Coolum Hotel, David Low Way near Margaret Street - use this stop for services to Coolum

This was the usual archetypical waste of time that seems to happen with trial routes.

Inadequate frequency was the main thing.  I also expect there was no identifiable latent travel demand which could not be met by providing a decent interchange between the 610 and 622.  Only a more frequent service would have induced some patronage.

The 623 also duplicated the 612 from Nambour to Bli Bli  :thsdo, had the planners sent 623 via Petrie Creek Road instead (along with a decent clockface frequency) as per the suggestions on the other hand.

As per past suggestions, I do agree with re-timing the 612 and 622 to provide enough time to connect between services in Bli Bli (which may been cheaper to do in the first place).
