Thank you for your interest in the Transport for NSW App Hot House.

Transport for NSW is looking to enhance the customer experience of public transport and recognise how the innovation of the NSW development community can bring highly engaging user-centred solutions direct to customers.

On November 3 2012, Transport for NSW will be releasing the first stage of real-time location (GPS data) of Sydney's buses at the App Hot House. In this first stage of release, the data released will cover the inner city metropolitan Sydney region. Later in 2013, coverage will be expanded to outer metropolitan areas, to improve the range of data available through the existing real time bus feed.

In this first phase, Transport for NSW will be working with a small team of developers to understand what external third parties' requirements are. Access to the data that'll be provided at this event will be made more widely available at a later stage.
