LESS than a third of peak public transport services run every 15 minutes, a study has revealed.

The Public Transport Users Association research released today found only 29.85 per cent of train, tram and bus about 8am and 5.30pm ran every 15 minutes or less, which the organisation said wasn't enough to lure people out of the car.

President Daniel Bowen said the frequency of all public transport modes had improved since the study was last conducted in 2006, but more could still be done ...
