On board EMU26/19 ex Goodna on time 5.27am.  Several hundreds pax on board.

Plan for today is Caboolture at 7.09am, rail bus 649 Caboolture to Glass House Mountains 7.20am - 7.45am (second go card), back on rail at 8.13am Nambour due 8.52am.

Nambour to Cooroy by road (private vehicle) to check out alternate bus route Eumundi to Cooroy.  Present bus runs on the highway but locals think via the range road a better option because that is where folks are (houses etc) and is almost the same time anyway.  They can give their thoughts on the bus review survey from Monday  too of course  ...

There is usually school traffic on the Railbuses (counter-peak direction) and Trains during the morning peak.  3-4 schools in the area (Glasshouse Mtns Primary, Beerwah State High, Landsborough Primary and Maleny High - via bus connection off Landsborough)

Good turn out at Cooroy!

Lots of folks on to the go.

Heading home, same deal.  The 4.31pm ICE out of Nambour, arrives at Caboolture and the all pax told to leave the train.  The ICE then runs empty to town. Pax have to wait for the 5.52 Ippy all stations.  This is insulting to say the least.  Pax should be able to travel on the ICE at least to Eagle Junction.

You wonder why people get p%ssed  off QR?

What?  Someone should be called to account!

Indeed.  At Nundah, lucky I remembered to have a wee between Elimbah and CAB, on the ICE.

It is just incomprehensible why pax are not carried through on the unit.  There would be about 80 or so pax that are turfed out at CAB.  We sit around and wave good bye to the ICE.

Many thanks to Stillwater for organising these sessions.  I just had fun travelling on our favourite railway line ..  :o

Seriously, I think this will have a great impact on getting folks out on the go.  I patiently explained the advantages.

I will now upload the presentation, it is just the framework.

Many thanks to the Sunshine Coast Regional Council for their support, not only for these sessions but for public and active transport.  You are a best example for all councils in Queensland.  Thank you!

I have been advised QR are going to look at whether the service can be used for pax. So that is good, thanks.
