Kedron Brook and Lutwyche busway station open day 16th June

Try reading the network map posted up at KGS. It's a headache to read as well! The readability is let down by the large number of routes with confusing stopping patterns, missing section of the Northern Busway and numerous routes diverging at various points.

The basic network maps found at most other busway stations are far better. The section north of RBWH does look a bit strange though, with a different stop icon and fewer services for the on road stops. This could be fixed with fewer routes and fewer stopping patterns.

The stop for the 340 at KGS to head to the Gabba is tucked away in a corner (stop 2a), whereas stop 2b appears to be set down only. Both 2a and 2b are designated for Cultural Centre terminators, but 340 is 2a only.

This should only be for buses headed to Mitchelton.  As I understand it, the reason is that the access point just south of the station can only be used as an exit (presumably because it is a bit of a blind spot for northbound buses coming out of the tunnel), the 369 can use the southbound platform but can only enter the busway heading the other way just after the station.

Along with the flags on the bus stops, this increased visibility will lead people who live in the area to go "Oh wow! Look at all these 369s coming all the time. Maybe I can catch it now to get to the Stafford cinemas / get to the Airtrain at Eagle Junction / have lunch at the KP instead of spending money on petrol and having to bother to find a park."

Sure.  Now if only it ran after 6:30pm, people could actually go to the movies after work or have dinner or a few drinks at the KP as well.

The eastbound 369 I caught Monday morning stopped at Kedron Brook platform 1. I hope there's some sort of signage informing intending westbound 369 passengers where their stop is!

This sort of trash is a reason why buses should never, ever be mapped using a railway-style schematic diagram.

A scale map of the BUZ series can work—if there's a schematised inset covering the very inner city, where routes serve a greater number of different termini than is warranted. A schematic possibly passes as a rough guide, for such a rough system! (Even worse if/when the Maroon PolitiGlider goes ahead. At that stage, I'll well and truly give up on trying to represent an insanely illogical "network" at all, let alone in a way the man on the street could hope to understand. That would take a level of genius I'm nowhere near possessing.)

I don't think the wasteglider deserves to be shown on CFN maps- frequent or not!!
