Toowoomba - Brisbane Translink service

This is poll #2 of 2.

This poll is to do with specifically the establishment of a TransLink service
between Toowoomba and Brisbane, and would most likely be a coach service departing Brisbane
from Roma Street, operated under contract to TransLink.

This poll will run for 7 days and results will be visible after the poll

This is just me.

No. Translink should not be running/providing express services between Toowoomba-Brisbane. Greyhound are already doing it correctly, at a profit with appropiate pricing.

Yes. By all means provide a all stopping bus service between Ipswich-Toowoomba (Ipswich-Gatton on a Translink service then connect to a Qconnect service Gatton-Toowoomba etc). Use the existing set up of rail and other feeder buses. Don't simply make up new routes or boost the frequency of random routes like they've recently done on the northside. Improve rail times by moding the Ipswich-Caboolture stopping pattern (most likely after Springfield-Kippa Ring is online, if its ran at 4tph in conjunction with NGR project which includes the new maintainence facility out west). Fix up their own pethitic network first such as running hours, stop locations, who can use what stop, frequency and route coverage. Establish main corridors/routes, upgrade the infrastructure, revise routes either by replacing/extending/cutting at interchanges-railway stations-busway stations and after all that's done then work around including Toowoomba under the Translink banner.
