Sunshine Coast Council has Corporate GoCards, does anyone know of any other organisations in SEQ that have them??

Where I work does (state govt).

How are they different, are they just allowed to be transferable?
Different colour scheme on the card?

I think there may have been some trials but nothing has been made public.

It has been a long term promise, but as with most things related to the go card, takes years and years ...

Never used one.  Sorry.  I'm not aware of any difference - probably just a standard Go Card.

I'd be better off or no worse off to use my personal go card for 1 zone trips off peak.  I go into the 10 journey cap basically every week.

I'm not sure about for other PT travel, but I know TMR can/do give their staff travel vouchers to pay for catch the train to the Brisbane Airport.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

My unit at work now has one, it's a normal GoCard that has "Corporate" printed on the front and we have to directly contact the responsible Translink officer to register my unit's ownership.  We had a six month trial last year and there was low uptake because it's the Sunshine Coast and the lack of frequency and direct routes between the centres do not justify the time spent travelling for a meeting.  They have been used for travel to Brisbane and for travel between offices for all day/most day workshops.  They are useful for these situations because it can be an issue to organise a car for use before or after normal business hours.
