A couple of things that have come up for me...

-Why is it when I click on profiles it says "Sorry, but you cant just view any profile"...If I'm registered and logged in then surely this shouldn't be happening right  :conf

-When I make a post, the software is taking me back to forum/subforum the thread belongs in, instead of taking me back to the thread I was in and showing me the post I made. Why is it doing this?

I think the profiles are a privacy thing, they are blocked even if you are logged in. You can view your own though.
Not sure about the other issues...
Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

It is the way the forum is designed, nothing we can do about that.  Free software has its limitations.  In the next upgrade it may well be addressed.

Profiles are under user control, some folks make them available others don't. Default is private, this was done because of a number of privacy issues.  I have no intention of changing that.

At the top of the main page, there used to be 3 links...posts since last visit, new replies to your posts, and then one other i cant remember...where did they go?

To the right of the date and time there is a expand-collapse button. Click that and it should re-appear.

This has been addressed, just go to profile, Look and Layout under Modify Profile, tick the box next to Return to topics after posting by default.

When you post this will bring you back to the post, rather to the thread.
