New early bird service leaves Caboolture 5.23am arrives Central 6.27am

I plan to catch the 'maiden' early bird service at Oxley at 5.56am on Monday.

Can anyone see any other changes in the new timetables?

With the exception of an additional AM train for insomniacs, it is the same old same old on the Caboolture /Sushine Coast.

If there are sufficient cars to provide 2 additional AM pre-peak services, why can't QR offer its customers a couple of additional services in tail of the PM peak.
A service between 1806 and 1836 on the Caboolture line would offer relief to those commuters who must stand in both of these services, sometimes beyond Zillmere.
At least Ipswich sees an additional service in this timeslot.

Edit: Shouldn't the Inner City Timetable have had an update as well?

We do have some members on the Doomben line actually, so this is a little gain.

A lot more to come.  I think we might see a gradual ramp up as units/crew become available.
A number of changes are planned for Feb 2009 as well I understand.
