RTBU: RailCorp Employees Should Get Permission Before Preventing Fatality

QuoteA RailCorp employee has been removed from duty after acting to prevent a person being struck by trains. Only in Railcorp would this mindset operate. The employee received a report that a person was on the tracks at Wynyard during the morning peak period, and acted in accordance with Railcorp's 'Safe Culture' to avert an almost certain fatality. Anywhere else the employee would be hailed as a hero, instead he is being punished.
