My suggestion:

Have only one route, run from Toowong Station to Indooroopilly, something like this:

Change to trains/buses at Toowong or buses at Indooroopilly (or train if you don't mind the walk, I couldn't find any sensible way to serve the station).

Eliminates two low frequency routes that go to the city and one to UQ unnecessarily, perhaps funding freed up could make this route run every 30 minutes 6am-7pm Mon-Sat & 7am-6pm Sun/PH, then hourly til 11pm Mon-Sat, 10pm Sun.
I don't think BUZ like frequency/times are needed for a coverage route like this.

Mine was to combine this with the 470.  Although that means you cannot serve Toowong properly.  Your proposal has merit.

I guess that would be possible, and perhaps not a bad idea, although it does have a rather big kink.

Of course this remove service on Milton Rd west of Croydon Rd and also Dean St, however GCL also services this area (however it could do to have the ridiculous Bardon diversion removed and travel directly via Metroad 5.

I didn't mean I wanted the Sylvan Rd kink.  Continue as a 470 until Elizabeth St and then follow your route, or something similar.

However, you are removing the 414/415 service to west of the Western Freeway.  Could be unpopular.

So something like

I can see the benefit, but I don't like it because there's no decent rail interchange west of Roma St.

As for not serving west of Western Fwy, 415 goes west of it by what, 300 metres?  I'm not sure that's reason to make that diversion.

Perhaps public transport to that pocket could be improved by having the 425/426/427/428 travel via Russel Tce instead of Burbong St? But that make hinder more people than it harms.  Looking at bus routes serving Chapel Hill, it's apparently that large swathes of the suburb are not serviced by public transport at all.  No wonder Moggill Rd traffic is so bad!

Yes, something like that.  I could live with either to be honest.

Ah right - you've replaced Hillsdon Rd and Waverley Rd with Stanley Tce and Taringa Pde.  Does mean that you run along the edge of the catchment which isn't normally encouraged.

There's a lot of forest adjacent to Russell Tce.  Perhaps 427/428 but I think the 425/426 should remain where they are.
