Point of clarification.
I was suggesting a heavy rail branch line from the main western line (Wacol - Goodna - Riverview) to Bellbowrie-Kenmore.  If the light rail is going from Bellbowrie - Wacol/Darra may as well come further in to perhaps around Kenmore.

The advantage of this approach (light or heavy) is it is counter to the congestion peak flows and the rail head could be serviced from feeder buses again going against the congestion flow.  More roads is just confirming gridlock and congestion.

Also gives quick mass transit options to either Brisbane or Ipswich.  Ipswich is a major decentralisation site for the future.
