Route 200 and 222

Your ideas please.
Now that we have 2 BUZ services along Old Cleveland Road to Carindale, I was thinking that maybe the 200 route should be changed to depart QSBS and travel via Capt Cook Bridge to Wolloongabba then normal route to Carindale.
This would take 5 - 7 minutes off the trip time plus lower the congestion at the CC and Melbourne st portal.
The 222 will continue to service the busway stops.
I can't think of any reason why this can't be done..

I like this idea. We need to get buses OUT of CC and onto CC Bridge.

I'm not a fan of 200 via CCB but still via Gabba.

Queens Wharf  Rd is slow, but more importantly, I don't see the point in trying to have two medium speed services on the outbound.  If it uses the CCB it should also use the Eastern Busway.

I think 200 via Chatsworth Rd is more worth looking at - it would expand the BUZ network significantly.

-Scrap 222
-Make 200 6 bph
-Put on the Eastern Busway
-When the busway is complete beyond Carindale, send 200 buses along there.
-Carindale heights cut back to Carindale, pax transfer.

Problem, Translink?

I was a bit hesitant to say too much in this thread, as you probably know what I think, but what the heck?

Firstly, I see no point in running between the city and Old Cleveland Rd via Woolloongabba.

That leaves a few options:
(a) 200+204 in QSBS (or Adelaide St, so long as it is consistent.  I could even live with KGSBS if that is the price which has to be paid) and via Eastern Busway - 222 to Valley via Story Bridge
(b) 200 via Chatsworth Rd + 204 via Eastern Busway
(c) 222 via Chatsworth Rd + 204 via Eastern Busway

Otherwise, I don't really see any point in having so many city routes along the O-C Rd corridor.  Add frequencies to existing routes!  But if it is to remain thus:
(d) 200 via Eastern Busway + CCB, with the 200 using Elizabeth, Creek & Adelaide Sts in the CBD.  204 via Eastern Busway.  222 to Adelaide St

I can't think of anything else which seems modestly logical.

I like a combination of options b and d. Though why the 222 to Adelaide St if the 111/333/444 (the other spines) stay where they are?
As much as I'd like the 200 to go via the CCB full time, I think it should only be done if a suite of other routes are rerouted across the CCB as well, otherwise it seems a big illogical and confusing (looking at you 110/140/210/220)

Surprised by this question.  Surely you know that I do not believe in the 111 & 444 in KGSBS?!  As for why 222 on Adelaide St, that is because that is where every other O-C Rd route would be in that scenario.  It could and should be done!

444 I don't care where it terminates, but the 111 should be busway only.

I think Adelaide St is near enough to busway for the 111.  There'd be a real missed opportunity with having an 88 style route (or the 88) connecting the CBD via the CCB without serving Parliament, which is impossible with the Queens Wharf Rd route.
