I attended a display at Darra today by representatives of TMR associated with the upgrade of the Ipswich Highway Darra to Rocklea.

Full details here--> http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Projects/Name/I/Ipswich-Motorway-Planning-Study-Darra-to-Rocklea.aspx

The motorway will be elevated over Scotts Road, this opens up Scotts Road once again and it will allow buses to come directly across  under the highway from Archerfield Road.  The buses will be able to avoid the Harcourt Road mess (which will have traffic signals).

Heavy vehicles (trucks) are to be restricted using  Scotts Road.  They will continue to use the new Harcourt Bridge (to be constructed)

The Harcourt road mess will be fixed up.   The Oxley Blunder Road (what an appropriate name) roundabout circus  is going as well.

It will be rather neat to get into Darra again via Scotts Road from Richlands/Inala.
Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

That's a positive about Scotts Rd.  But only the 462 would take advantage of it, the way I read it.  Unless the 103 goes that way.
