Bus crashes on South East Busway

There has been a bus crash on Brisbane's South East Busway.

The severity of the crash, which occurred at Buranda station, is not known.

Buses have been advised to avoid the area.

This is not the first time there has been a bus crash at this location.

Delays after bus breaks down on South East Busway

A broken down bus caused minor delays for commuters this morning on Brisbane's South East Busway.

It was initialy believed that the 137 bus from Sunnybank Hills crashed en route to the CBD.

However a Translink spokesman confirmed the bus broke down in the Harrogate Street tunnel, causing only minor delays to other buses.

The passengers on the 137 service boarded an express service to the CBD.
