Here is the list of agencies stations where folks may get hold of a Go Card.

See --> http://timetables.translink.com.au/db/agents.php  for the Translink list.

Some people in Ipswich are very upset that the card is not available anywhere in Ipswich by the look of things.

This roll out just goes from diabolical to missing in action ...

FREE TRAVEL OFFERED THIS EASTER

QuoteFREE TRAVEL OFFERED THIS EASTER

Translink has urged commuters to buy Go Cards before the Easter break, offering free travel for all passengers with the new card.

From midnight tonight until midnight Monday, March 24, Go Card holders can travel from Gympie to Coolangatta free.

Transport Minister John Mickel said commuters would not have to touch on or off, but would need to show their card when boarding a bus, train or ferry.

?If any public transport users are thinking of giving Go Card a try, there has never been a better time ? switch to Go Card and travel free for four days over Easter,? Mr Mickel said.

The controversial paperless ticketing system has only been in action across the south ? east for three weeks, but has not been without its confusion.

Ipswich residents have written to QT saying they couldn?t get on a bus without a Go Card, didn?t know where to purchase the cards and more recently not being able to purchase the Go Card from the Ipswich Railway Station.

A Queensland Transport spokesperson yesterday told the QT passengers should be able to still purchase a cash paper ticket on all Ipswich services.

?(But) passengers cannot purchase Go Cards from the Ipswich station at the moment.? The spokesman said.

?Translink?s plans to install the equipment that would allow Go Cards to be sold at Ipswich Station have been put on hold due to the planned refurbishment of the station.?

Some loose words in this article:

QuoteA Queensland Transport spokesperson yesterday told the QT passengers should be able to still purchase a cash paper ticket on all Ipswich services.

Really?  I thought conductors had finished up years ago ...

QuoteIpswich residents have written to QT saying they couldn?t get on a bus without a Go Card

Huh?  Not too sure about that ..

?  There is nowhere listed in Ipswich!!

The fact that Ipswich station is going to be refurbished is no reason not to be able to sell Go cards to the passengers. It is after all a key station.

Huggies

Sometimes I think the Go Card can go and get F**KED!

Not able to purchase a GoCard - they don't know how lucky they really are ...  ;D

Seriously though, it's unfortunate and ill-planned that they will miss out on the free travel
available to GoCard holders over this Easter long week-end.
