Definite improvement for exiting Central Station at the Creek Street Exit with no queuing this morning.
Maybe it was just a case of 1 train pax and timing.

Well done QR !

Are there actually any dedicated anti-flow gates at central anymore. When I arrive at central at 5pm no matter which entrance I use I always come head to head with people wanting to use the same gate I use to get out of central. The main gate I use is creek st & sometimes it is dedicated but usually it isn't. Ozbob, could you look into this please.

The main front gates have contra flow at all times. Side gates are directional with peaks. Although I have noticed intermittently the sides do sometimes have a gate against the peak.  They need to be consistent and say so.  In short it is a mess.
Half baked projects, have long term consequences ...

Had a look at the main gates again last night & there where 3 contra flow, 2 dedicated & 1 bi-directional unfortunately there where people queued up at all 3 waiting to get out, then the gate I was waiting to use decided it didn't want to work anymore. I think the paper ticket system was far better with much less hassle.
