Just wondering,

Has there ever been a co-ordinated effort from RailBoT members to undertake expeditions around a particular area on say a Saturday every now and again?  Basically an informal audit of infrastructure and services in a given location? (say, a particular stretch of a :lo line, or the :bu routes operating out of a particular interchange like Caboolture, The Pines, Cannon Hill, Inala etc)

While a lot of us are familiar with our own bailiwicks, I think it would possibly be of great benefit to have a look around the network outside our own turf.  If nothing else, I'm sure it would reveal a lot of inconsistency in the way things are rolled out...

Good idea SurfRail.  We have done a few outings over the years, some of us are planning to go to Gympie North on the 6th June on the first daylight service with the new timetables.  Visiting different lines and routes - bus and river, is always worthwhile.

I am presently on board Cleveland service (terminates at Dutton  Park) to see how it goes.  Just been to Ferny Grove, well worth a look. Certainly has changed a lot since the last visit.
