In response to the Queensland Rail Caboolture line timetable restructure, TransLink is reviewing bus timetables of services within the northern region, specifically:

    * route 671 (Strathpine to Joyner)
    * route 672 (Joyner to Strathpine)
    * route 673 (Lawnton to Westfield Strathpine)
    * route 674 (Strathpine)
    * route 675 (Petrie station to Murrumba Downs)
    * route 676 (Petrie station to North Lakes).

To provide your feedback on the proposed changes, you are invited to attend one of TransLink's information sessions at the following locations:

Petrie School of Arts

1018 Anzac Avenue, Petrie - Friday 6 May (5.30pm to 7.30pm).

Kensington Village Shopping Centre

Kensington Way, corner of Sovereign Avenue, Bray Park - Saturday 7 May (9am to 12pm).

An online response form will also be available on this website from 7 to 14 May.

We encourage and value your input.

I notice that similar to the original page on the New Farm route changes, the website offers no details as to what the proposed changes entail, if its just timing or what?

How freaking hard is it to give more than 2 days notice?   :-w

As near as I can determine, the changes relate to changing timetables by about 3 minutes.  Still the same awful network design, awful operating hours, no extra feeder services and poor frequencies.  You'll struggle to find worse operating hours than on the 673 and 674.  :pr

Thompsons have far more buses than they require to deliver their current level of service, as do Hornibrook who are in fact just as close to Strathpine with their Lawnton yard.  Here's a thought - put them on the road, and if the drivers don't exist, invest in them!

Looking forward to some more utterly insubstantial changes to the Northern and Western region timetables in coming weeks.
